We hired Nicholas to build something that, to our knowledge, had never been built before: an anatomically accurate phantom breast test fixture with an internal silicone bladder capable of emulating letdown and the full lactation process for bench testing. He delivered.

 

What impressed us most was his problem-solving. He worked through cure inhibition issues, viscosity and degassing challenges, mandrel centering, and duckbill valve sourcing. When no off-the-shelf valve would work with platinum-cure silicone, he simply designed and cast his own. Every step was documented with clear write-ups, photos, and honest assessments of what worked and what didn't. That transparency made him a pleasure to work with.

 

The first fully assembled unit performed correctly under vacuum on its very first test. It's an industry first, and it will let us run multiple automated test stations going forward.
